LIC Pool made a speciality out of combining your pool and Jacuzzi in one beautiful wellness centre in your own garden. Next to that we are certified distributor of quality Jacuzzis.
Pump Systems
The pump systems for the standard units and the "Flushdeck" units are slightly different in size and component make up. Spa pumps are insulated in order to provide an environment free from excessive noise caused by the operation of the spa. The details of each system are listed below:
Standard Spas
  • 1 x 0.75 kW circulation pump
  • 1 x 1.1 kW jet pump / 1 x 1.5 kW jet pump
  • 1 x 1.1 kW air blower
  • 2 x 25sq foot cartridge filters
  • 1 x 3kW heater (stainless steel housed)
  • 1 x digital temperature controller including time switch
  • 1 x control box including isolator and individual circuit breakers
Size: 1180mm x 950 mm x 690mm ( including sound proofed pump box cover)
Requires a 35amp single phase power supply
Flushdeck Spas
  • 1 x 0.75kW circulation pump
  • 1 x 1.1 kW jet pump / 1 x 1.5kW jet pump
  • 1 x 1.1kW air blower
  • 3 x 25sq foot cartridge filters
  • 2 x 3kW heater (stainless steel housed)
  • 1 x digital temperature controller including time switch
1 x control box including isolator and individual circuit breakers
Size: 1500mm x 1070mm x 900mm ( including sound proofed pump box cover )
Requires a 55amp single phase power supply or 3 phase connection.

Insulation:
The pump unit cover is insulated with an acoustic foam material that effectively absorbs noise from the pumps and the air blower making for the quietest running system on the market. The acoustic foam is also effective in insulating the system from a heat loss point of view thus further reducing running costs.

Control Box:
This is a splash proof unit with a flap up transparent lid that makes it easy to read the timer and temperature setting. The box contains the circuit breakers for all the components as well as the main isolator.

Heater:
The heater element is enclosed in a stainless steel heater housing that ensures no distortion to the housing and maximum safety.

Temperature Controller and Timer:
The controller reads the current temperature in the spa and allows for easy adjustment to the temperature settings. The time switch is part of this unit and operates digitally making for easy adjustment. The timer is responsible for the unit's circulation, filtering and heating cycles and can be set to suit each owner individually. (A spa supplied without a timer designed to run off the temperature controller is not suitable).
Spashell
Insulation
Manufactured from 5mm acrylic sheet and fibreglass reinforced. The shell is then coated with urethane insulation to an average thickness of 15mm. The urethane insulation drastically reduces heat loss through the side walls and floor of the spa making our spas the most economical units on the market to operate.

Switch Gear
Attractive low voltage switches are fitted to the side of the tubs to control the high-pressure jet pump, air blower and underwater light. The reason that low voltage switches are used is to avoid the use of the large unsightly pneumatic switch pads which discolour, perish and fade within about two months and require regular replacing.

Weir
Our spas are supplied with surface mounted weirs that remove all surface impurities from the spa into the filters on a continual basis which prevents a scum line forming at the water level around the edge of the spa.

Vertical Air
Air is pumped into the spa through small holes in the seat of the spa which creates a bubbling sensation in the spa. These holes are sealed with small white nylon ferrules which prevent water entering the fibreglass reinforcing on the back of the spa.
